Social Action Committee meetings

National Voter Registration Day
Our chapter registered 54 new voters across Newton County with the help of 10 participating members.

Postcard Writing Campaign

Members and partners come together to encourage civic participation ahead of the November election.
The participation form will be available when the event begins at noon.
Participants must attend in person and complete the form at the event. Attendance will be verified before volunteer credit is awarded.
Help us put postcards in the mail
Postcard stamps of any quantity are welcome. You can bring them to the party or contact the Social Action Committee at socialact.caac@gmail.com or (470) 236-3958 to arrange a handoff.
A USPS coil of 100 postcard stamps is currently $65. Every contribution helps us reach more neighbors.

Georgia’s advance voting period for the general election. Check your county’s locations and hours before visiting.
Statewide, congressional, and local contests appear according to your address. Review your personal sample ballot on My Voter Page.
Georgia lists this date for a general election runoff if a contest requires one.
Georgia cities generally hold regular municipal elections in odd years. Only eligible residents within participating city limits vote in a city election. Check the city and county election notices for the confirmed ballot and voting schedule.
